SPRINGFIELD, TN – A pedestrian was hospitalized yesterday after being hit by a motor vehicle in central Springfield, local media report.
The collision occurred at about 3 p.m. on Thursday as a 47-year-old man attempted to cross Memorial Boulevard near 5th Avenue. Emergency responders took the victim to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville via helicopter. His present condition is not known at this time.
