    Six hospitalized with carbon monoxide poisoning

    NASHVILLE, TN – Six people suffered injuries after they were exposed to a carbon monoxide leak at their apartment complex Saturday.

    According to News Channel 5, the carbon monoxide leak occurred at the Edgehill apartment complex on 11th Avenue South on January 8th. 

    The carbon monoxide leak was reportedly caused by an indoor heating unit that malfunctioned.

    Officials have since replaced both the smoke alarm and carbon monoxide alarm within the apartment unit. Additionally, the heating vent pipe was repaired. It is unclear if the original carbon monoxide alarm malfunctioned.

    All six people have since been released from the hospital.

    Officials at the Edgehill apartment complex state that all the apartment units are equipped with smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

    The Nashville Fire Department continues to investigate the incident.

    One in critical condition after mobile home collapses in Bell Town

    NASHVILLE, TN – One person was seriously injured when their mobile home collapsed on them near Bell Town on Saturday morning. 

    According to WBIR, a mobile home located on Sneed Road off of Highway 70 in Cheatham County collapsed around 3:45 AM on December 11th. The collapse was a result of severe weather.

    First responders were able to rescue the occupant of the mobile home. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where they remain in critical contition.

    Authorities continue to investigate the near-fatal incident.

    Family restaurant destroyed in fire, injury report pending

    DICKSON CO., TN – A family barbecue restaurant in White Bluff was destroyed in a fire Thursday afternoon.

    According to WKRN, the fire broke out at the Hog Heaven restaurant off Highway 70 during the afternoon of October 28th. The cause of the fire is unknown.

    Dickson County Fire and Rescue responded to the fire, but were unable to salvage the building.

    At this time, it is unclear if anyone was injured as a result of the fire.

    Investigators from Dickson County Fire and Rescue continue to try to determine the cause of the fire.

    Vehicle fire on I-440 causes major traffic delays

    NASHVILLE, TN – Major traffic delays have been reported after a vehicle caught fire on I-440 in West Nashville Thursday morning.

    According to WSMV, the car caught fire on I-440 eastbound at 21st Avenue the morning of October 28th. 

    The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.

    It is unclear if any occupants of the vehicle suffered injuries.

    The right lane of I-440 eastbound has been shut down as first responders clear the scene, resulting in heavy traffic.

    Pedestrian struck and critically injured by tour bus

    NASHVILLE, TN – A pedestrian suffered serious injuries after they were struck and dragged under a tour bus in downtown Nashville Saturday evening. 

    According to WSMV, the collision took place at 321 Broadway Avenue around 5:00 PM on October 23rd. The pedestrian was reportedly struck while crossing the street.

    The Nashville Fire Department worked to free the pedestrian from where they were trapped underneath the bus. They were then transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

    The pedestrian remains in critical condition,

    Metro police continue to investigate the crash, but no charges have been pressed.

    Gray Line Tennessee, the transportation company responsible for the bus involved, has yet to make a statement.

    Fatal Glengarry house fire under investigation

    NASHVILLE, TN – Authorities continue to investigate a deadly house fire potentially caused by arson  in the Glengarry area Wednesday evening.

    According to WSMV, the fire broke out at a home in the 400 block of Southwood Drive on October 20th. 

    The fire reportedly started in the kitchen, but the exact source remains unknown.

    The Nashville Fire Department discovered one victim dead in the house when they arrived.

    The Medical Examiner has yet to determine a cause of death.
